We will be hosting our 2nd Annual motorcycle run around the burren to raise funds for Blood Bike West.

The Huntsman are offering a reduced Full Irish Breakfast for just €5 after you have completed registration.
The donation requested to join the run is just €20 per rider and €10 per pillion and this will include soup and sandwiches at our lunch stop in Lahinch.
Please spread the word to help make this run as big as possible.
Our official launch was a HUGE success! With press coverage on a local and national basis!
Charley Boorman was a great ambassador for our charity and we were privileged to have him with us for the launch.
Photos can be found under the photo gallery page.
We are delighted to confirm that we have our Insurance policy now in place. Carole Nash have been amazing in assisting us with our project and designed a bespoke package just to suit our needs.
Carole Nash is one of Ireland's largest motorcycle insurance specialists.
We look forward to working with them as our service grows.
On Monday 14th May we all met up (& avoided the showers!) to get our group photos taken and the official handover of the bike!
Darach from Darachphotography was on hand to take the photos for us - Thank you so much Darach.
Sean Lyons from Bluebird Care - Bluebird Care Galway - Handed over the key to Becky Blight on the evening.
TD Noel Grealish was also there to support us - and try out the bike and uniform!
See the rest of the photos from the launch in the photo album - HERE
Yesterday our Chairman, Mike Carty and Head of Navigation, Paul Darcy, headed down to Pit Lane Motorcycles in Dungarvan to pick up our bike! Paul was VERY brave and rode pillion all the way down. I think he was delighted to make it to Waterford in one piece!
Paul then got to ride the new Blood Bike West Bike all the way back to Ardrahan!
The bike is now in the garage waiting to be fitted with the blue lights, reflective strips and special carrying shelf on the back.
More photos in the Gallery Page.
Sean from Bluebird Care, who is funding our first bike, is in contact with Joanne Sweeney-Burke (from the apprentice fame) to help with our PR & Launch. Sean is going to cover any costs involved in this.
Joanne will help us to get the media coverage we need in the beginning.
I'm full of good news this week! :-)
Myself and Mike are just out of a meeting with the services managers in UCHG.
They are all on board to use our services. They have spoken to the different departments in the hospital and they are all positive about what we are planning.
We just need to get up and running and go back to them when we are ready to roll out!
